Man arrested in connection with Young Dolph shooting released from jail

FOX13 has confirmed Corey McClendon has been released from a California jail.

He’s the Memphis man that was arrested Wednesday in connection to the shooting of Memphis rapper Young Dolph.

Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton, Jr., was shot outside a Hollywood hotel Tuesday afternoon.

McClendon was the only person arrested for the shooting. The 43-year-old is an associate of Memphis rapper Yo Gotti.

Prosecutors are asking police to conduct additional investigation before a decision is made on
whether to file criminal charges, according to FOX11.
